How to play

Songdle is the daily music puzzle from Statt Land, Song — think Wordle, but with a song. Everyone gets the same mystery track each day, you get one guess, and a perfect answer is worth 30 points.

Listen A short clip of today's song starts playing. Replay it as often as you like.
Artist Type the artist and pick from the suggestions. Not sure? Skip it — you can always come back.
Title Enter the song title. Part of it, or a near-miss spelling, still earns credit.
Year Guess the release year. A year or two off still scores most of the points.
Submit Lock in your answer to reveal the song and your score — then share your emoji result with friends.

Scoring

Each of the three fields is worth up to 10 points:

10 / 10 — exact match

Partial — a typo, a missing word, only part of the name, or a year that's close: you still get credit, scaled by how close you were

0 / 10 — no real match

A new song drops every day — keep your streak alive, and use the arrows above the puzzle to catch up on days you missed.
